COMPETITIONS

FLEECE HANDLING

1. All entrants must be registered members of the Rural Youth Organisation of Tasmania.

2. Competitors will be allowed 5 minutes to complete competition.

SCORING
Judges discretion re. Basic points allocate 10 maximum to 5 minimum. 10 points
Competence at picking up, ie, locating hind legs and clean pick up. 20 points
Throw on to table each leg and the neck spread out neatly. 30 points
Skirt fleece adequately. All stains and oddments removed without overskirting. 30 points
Roll neatly with shoulder wool on top. 10 points
TOTAL 100 points

3. A fleece that is slightly matted and very easy to pick up and throw would therefore have a maximum of 95 points.

4. The judge’s decision will be final.
