Brighton Members at the Farm Fete with their Jackaroo/Jillaroo Competition, promotional display, colour into win competition and dog high jump.

Jackaroo/Jillaroo Competition
Events included:
Timed (1 minute) spud carting over a small obstacle course, 1 min to put chosen number of spuds in bag  run, jump over bin, then mud puddle and empty into new bin, go again if time.
Pasture and weed id, (8 or so grasses/ weeds on display, decide if they are weed or quality pasture)
Beer heritage, (5 beers lined up, name the state they are brewed in)
Agricultural quiz, (10 Q's about different ag industries)
Knot tying. (tie bucket of spuds to my ute, judged on stability of tied object and knot technique)

Had lots of jillaroo contestants, not so many jackaroos.  Everyone that competed said "THEY HAD A LOT OF FUN!!!!!
