2008 MOTORS-ISUZU TRUCKS

TASMANIAN YOUNG FARMER OF THE YEAR COMPETITION

The sought after title of the 2008 Motors-Isuzu Trucks Tasmanian Young Farmer of the Year title was held at Quercus Rural Youth Park on Saturday 13th September.  For the fifteen competitors, the full day and evening of competition could not have been more exciting. 

Competitors were given the chance to prove themselves at everything from ATV operation to a weather module and the scene was set for a close competition in the hunt to find who would become the 2008 Motors-Isuzu Young Farmer of the Year.  Congratulations to Sarah Gatenby from Brighton Rural Youth Club who is only the second female to win this coveted award sine 1985.  Congratulations to all the competitors who contributed to the high standard of this year's competition.
