Study Tour selections for travel in 2020 were held recently at Woolmers Estate in Longford. Applicants and judges, along with State President, Dale Hayers, were taken on a guided tour of the estate, after which the applicants were given time to write a report on what they learned during the tour. A fabulous lunch catered for by Marjorie’s Restaurant, was enjoyed by all, and then on to interviews with the judges, review of their reports as well as time for each applicant to present a personal demonstration of their choice to the judging panel.
Winners were announced at the AGM Dinner on Saturday 21st September – congratulations goes to Mitchell Beer who has been awarded the US Study Tour for 2020, and Ashleigh Reynolds who was awarded the Canada Study Tour for 2020. We wish them both the very best for when they set off on their travels mid next year.
