Were you once a member of Junior Farmers, Calf Clubs, or the Rural Youth Organisation of Tasmania Inc? Are you a past member of the Agfest Committee, or an interstate or overseas sister organisation? Are you a previous exchange study tour recipient? If so, then the Tasmanian Rural Youth Past Members Association is for you.
The Tasmanian Rural Youth Past Members Association (TRYMPA) offers you a chance to catch up with other people who share similar interests and backgrounds. We all had such good times and opportunities in the organisation, so why not renew ties? It is a state-wide organisation, affiliated with the current Rural Youth Tasmania and a link to the National Association of Rural Exchangees Australia.
No branches, committees or major commitment, unless you wish to volunteer. TRYPMA is all about maintaining contact, sharing interests and socialising with each other.
You only need to join once, and you will receive invitations to our major functions, reunions and gatherings such as the annual Afternoon Tea Muster at Agfest. Information on what we are currently up to will be emailed to you in the Enews as it happens, on our Facebook page or by mail if you do not have email.
We rely on you to pass the word on and invite other eligible people to join, as it is not possible to know where everyone is now, and we want to include as many people as we can!
Information about upcoming events are conveyed to members and if you are not a member, you may not get to know. A recent example is the Agfest Reunion Dinner held in October 2019 where it was extremely difficult to contact key people, and some missed out. See the Agfest Reunion Dinner newsletter for more information.
